Communication and Collaboration for Data Teams is a workshop that I offer to data scientists and data professionals. This workshop is meant to enhance and elevate the value of your data team’s work.

I’ve spent a lot of time with a lot of business leaders, and I have learned a lot about how they think about and value (or, don’t value) analytics. I’ve learned a lot about where companies succeed and fail with analytics. I’ve seen great investments, and horrible wastes of resources.

But a lot of this information never makes its way to the data teams. And this leaves myriad data scientists become discontented with the impact of their work.

This is NOT a technical training on how to build models or visualizations. It’s NOT “soft-skills.”

It’s about making sure that data professionals’ work is framed in ways that are compelling, elevating the value of their work, and helping close the loop on value across the enterprise.

Some details:

• The full workshop consists of 3 modules: a 3-hour session for the data team, followed by a second 90-minute session for the data team, and a separate 1 hour discussion with executive leadership

• Currently, I offer this only to companies, not individuals

• Price depends on size of the group and customization desired

• Can be remote or in-person

• Appropriate for all levels - from data analyst to PhD-level
